We are looking for you to contribute to Sweden's internal and external security

Are you the one we are looking for?

Your workplace is at the unit for war organizations, which is part of the department for war placement and registration, and you will be part of a workgroup consisting of administrators, coordinators, and a unit manager. We have a friendly atmosphere and a strong loyalty towards our colleagues within the workgroup and the entire authority.

In Karlstad, we are located in new and nice premises with good parking opportunities and about a 13-minute walk to the city center.

Your tasks

Your tasks include making independent authority decisions regarding placements within the Armed Forces' war organization and deciding on individual personnel matters based on the Total Defense Duty Act in connection with, among other things, refresher training. You staff the Armed Forces' war organization and maintain a dialogue with the Armed Forces on issues related to war organization and war placement. This involves continuous contact with the units and organizations you are responsible for.

Your qualifications

You have several years of relevant work experience from the Armed Forces or other total defense activities that the employer considers relevant. It is advantageous if you have officer training and have previously worked with the Armed Forces' war organization and staffing needs.

Your personal qualities

Your personal qualities are of great importance to us. In the role of personnel reporter, it is required that you are meticulous, flexible, and can quickly respond to the requests and needs of clients and individuals. You enjoy working independently but also have the ability to create good collaborative spaces with colleagues and clients. You have a naturally high awareness of confidentiality and thus an understanding of the importance of integrity in your work.

About the employment

The employment is permanent but may start with a six-month probationary period.

Due to the nature of the work, you cannot work from home, but we hope that this can instead contribute to a clearer division between work and leisure. You have the opportunity to train during work hours and are offered a favorable wellness allowance. We also offer parental leave supplements and up to 35 vacation days depending on age. We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness, and we conduct a security assessment with a background check according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.

With employment comes an obligation to be placed in wartime.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to reflect the society we operate in. We look forward to receiving your application!
